Day 2 Tennessee Pass – Crystal clear day

A deep blue sky, sharp sunshine and no wind was a welcome change from yesterday. First rode up to the cook house which was a yurt hut with a wooden kitchen hut attached. It looked to fit around 25 people for dinner. Rode several pleasant trails near the base area. Later drove down to the ‘flats’ trailhead and rode a couple of loops which are still part of the trail system there. I feel stronger today as I can push harder through the very thin air at around 11,000 ft. Despite living in Denver it is still a noticeable adjustment needed. Debating now if I should extent the trip one day.
