Twilight Ride – Snowing and can’t see Full Moon

TUNAGE: Jefferson Starship, ELO

With snow clouds low, the full moon did illuminate just enough it was like civil twilight. The legs felt good despite a few days without a ride. On Monday and Tuesday, I shopped for and now have a new Nissan Pathfinder. The 99′ Suburu Outback now goes to my son. Now I have the means to travel longer distances, reliably, and enough space for whatever adventure I can conjure. I am planning 2017 in my mind deeper into the mountains than before.
Finding now a fat bike rack rear mounted out the trail hitch that came with it.

15mi roundtrip along highline canal to the Margaret Perry Nature Preserve. This is one of my favorite destinations from my back door close to Araphahoe High. The log carving in the photo was fashioned by the caretakers, see the MPNP letters on the sitting log at midpoint in the journey. Some hot herb tea, a couple of photos, and ready for the ride home.

SEEN: Only 2 joggers seen on the trail. Twilight to darkness home by 6p.

Very glad I did the ride and this weekend will be full of more, and maybe a distant trail using my new transportation!
