Shangri-La: Just the name I gave it.

TUNAGE: Van Halen -first album and best of
I really had to push myself out the door today onto the bike. But as usual I am very glad I did as I feel great now. Trails close to home still have occasional snow and ice, with enough mud needing navigation. It’s late January and although partly sunny, there is a dullness and grey to all trees and grass. The sunset brought some needed color to the scenery.

Today I went to what I call Shangri-La. Just an area off highline trail with tunnels intersecting with Little Dry Creek. Always some slow moving water flowing underneath some ice here. In the summer this place is real pretty and each turn around a corner has something notable and different.

Tomorrow going to drive to a new trail immediately west of Ken Caryl Ranch. Going to be warm and likely very muddy.

I should use the tripod for shots like this.
