These are perfect conditions for the snow bike. With studded tires, the icy spots are tamed. Run pressure low at 5 PSI, and the tires roll smooth and easy. Nothing like the feeling of making first tracts in these conditions. Some artwork opportunities indulged. Nobody on these trails and I made first tracks for most the ride. On these days, a trip to the local golf course has a trail open when golfing closed.
