Every visit you will see Bighorn Sheep. The winter sun is bright but long shadows are cast on mostly brown tones. Recent snow is melting and a surprising amount of ice from cold temps. This 4 mile out and back trail is a real gem and I’m lucky to live so close.
This goes to Denver’s water supply and is managed by Denver Water authority.
