S Platte River trail scenes

The trails and riversides have been reshaped and modernized. Everything has a new look in and near the river. The industries that started in the area still thrive nearby, and these are industries found in every large city. Recycling, Trash, Metal recovery, making concrete and asphalt. Yet look now at what are sculptures and interpretive signs which explain and support the businesses all around you when you ride or walk. I enjoy coming down here for my taste of urban riding.

Razor Wire Trail, the Cement Plant boundary. With the razor wire, you wonder what else is going on they really don’t want you to see.
Cement plant that also creates giant forms for city/sewer projects.
Metal reclamation. A whole lot of grinding going on.
Apartments right next to the Garbage depot below. And near power lines!
