Sept 3, 2020 – This is considerably more vertical up and down on this trail just on the other side of the Mt. Margaret trail just off Red Feathers Lakes road. These well marked Forest Service trails offers several loops and trail options. Free range cattle appear in meadows being lazy in the sun.

Smoke in the distance and along crawling trail to lower meadows.
Many valleys and meadows along the way. Oh yes, and curious but mellow cows.
A heavenly mix of Aspen, mountains, and a downhill dirt trail.
Several small stands of Aspen along the way.
Seen here is the Cameron Peak forest fire in the distance. The wind is keeping it away from us for now.
How wide open can it get.
