Rode the East-West Trail up to Highlands Point. Great views on this dry, warm, sunny January Saturday. Still trying to find a way to get a pass to the Backcountry Wilderness Area trails which are marked private. The Highlands point has interesting signage with pointers to 3 key mountains west of Denver. Longs Peak, Mt. Evans, and Pikes Peak, all 14ers.
