The drive through Custer State Park and Needles Highway. Not routes to take the bicycle on.

Bizarre Granite formations in this scenic drive. Not suitable for a bike.

Expansive prairie in heart of Custer State Park.
I took the scenic 1880 train from Hill City to Keystone.
Some riders in period attire.
As far as the eye can see in all directions.
Sylvan Lake along the needles highway which is not a highway but a twisting steep scenic road.
Our train is stopped and robbed of the miners payroll on the outbound route. Shooting ensures but nobody really gets hurt.
Best vista scenery from the top of the black hills region.
