CPW#20 Lory State Park – West of Fort Collins

CPW#20 Lory State Park just west of Fort Collins.

Hidden coves are abundant at Horsetooth Reservoir.
Yep, another dry trail at Lory. I rounded a corner and was standing about 15 feet from a Mule Deer.
View east out over Fort Collins in the distance. Horse tooth reservoir just below.
I turned around here due to time limits. The trails go up much higher but still a great view despite the humidity and haze.
The rocky trail and my Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt bike.
More interest rock formations. This is dinosaur bones territory.
More hidden and quiet coves off Horsetooth reservoir.
Proof of Presence
Your author. Plenty of trail choices and worth a return to visit the very top of the mountain range that I face here towards the west.
