Yellowstone – Day 5a – West Thumb

2019, Sept 26
Heading out of the park today, and stopped at West Thumb Basin on the south of the park. These features are close to Yellowstone Lake with Some right along the shoreline. Another great weather day. Some pools here over 50 feet deep.

Lakeside geysers at West Thumb Basin.
Hyrdothermal features are found along the lake for a mile in the distance.
Rare geyser just off the shore.
Incredible views down the clear hot water.
One of the deepest pools you can’t see bottom.
