Weather moves in and its cold and overcast. The visit to State Forest takes you onto North Park which is an immense valley with mountains on all sides. The state park ‘State Forest’ is immense as well. Several entrances and dirt roads wind through and area you cannot visit in one day. There is good reason to return and explore the area and state park more. On the drive home you saw results of the large Cameron Peak fire burn scar along the Poudre Canyon.
