No photos from the bicycle this day. The strategy was to visit this area on a clear day with good photos emerging. News says that rain will arrive tomorrow afternoon so getting a sunny day in takes priority.
Includes a visit but no photos of the Snowy Range Ski Resort. A downhill skiing area which is small by Colorado Standards. The location near to Laramie make this a easy to visit small ski area.
The Snowy Range has white Quartz rocks giving it the appearance of snow and there were a couple of permanent snow fields visible towards the top. Stunning photos on this crisp and clear fall day. I scoped out 2 different trailheads for mountain biking at a lower elevation. There are numerous pull-outs, jeep roads and trails in the area. Most of these are hiking only and some go to the top of the tallest peak.The photos on google and the web show the views are awesome at the top.
