Each Fall there are a few days when the leaves mostly drop. These days I have found are the best to visit the High Line Canal system in metro Denver. The canals are dry, but very little if any human traffic at the bottom.
These photos taken on crystal clear day, at a peak time to ride.
As we approach Halloween the days are noticeably shorter, insects are on their last grasp, animals stir and fall moves quickly into winter around here.
